Simien Mountains National Park is a UNESCO site famed for its endemic wildlife, including the rare Ethiopian wolf, Gelada monkeys, and Walia ibex, set in Ethiopia's breathtaking high-altitude landscapes.

Community School Supported by AWF and LIELA Fund 

 
The AWF Liela Fund have extended their support to Conservation School program at Adisge Primary School adjacent to the Simien Mountains National Park (SMNP) Through School infrastructure development, provision of food, Stationary, uniforms and access to clean water. This generous contribution to promotes conservation efforts by fostering a positive relationship between the local community and the park, encouraging sustainable practices and environmental awareness.
