Jinbar Waterfall, one of the most breathtaking natural wonders of Simien Mountains National Park, is a must-visit attraction for nature lovers, trekkers, and photographers. Plunging an astonishing 530 meters, this waterfall is among the tallest in Africa, creating a mesmerizing spectacle as it crashes into the depths below.
Located just 4 km from Sankaber Campsite. The cascading water, resembling delicate strands of cotton, flows from the highland streams over the rugged cliffs, forming a breathtaking natural curtain.
The surrounding panoramic views stretch across deep gorges, towering cliffs, and vast plateaus, making Jinbar one of the most picturesque spots in the Simien Mountains.
The ideal season to witness Jinbar Waterfall in its full glory is from July to late November, when the rains fill the rivers, creating a powerful and majestic cascade.
